The moment we stepped off the PATH train in West Village, we were seduced by its charm.
We were immediately taken with everything from the stunning tree-lined streets and iconic brownstones to the trendy cafés and stylish dog-walking locals.
Nestled in between Chelsea, Greenwhich Village and Hudson Square in Lower Manhattan, West Village is primarily residential, which makes it great for a relatively tourist-free morning stroll.
It was hard not to linger on the quiet residential streets and wonder what life might be like for the lucky people who live in such a beautiful area of New York City.
We were so drawn to West Village, we made a point of stopping through for meals and window-shopping several times during our long weekend trip to New York.
