On our recent spring trip to NYC, we spent a lot of time walking around. We both feel there is no better way of getting a feel for a neighbourhood or discovering new places than by exploring a city on foot.
One of the Lower Manhattan neighbourhoods that contributed to a fair amount of wear on our shoes was SoHo. While the main strips are often packed with tourists in a shopping frenzy, quick detours onto side streets reward visitors with stunning historical cast-iron architecture and beautiful Belgian Block paved streets.
How do you discover new neighbourhoods?
