We've been wanting to visit Niagara-on-the-Lake's Fort George for a couple of years, but the timing (or weather) never worked out for us. Everything finally worked in our favour on our recent trip to the area and we were able to visit the fort in all of its glory. We spent our time wandering in and out of the various buildings and watching historical demos, including firing practice and the folding of the British flag ceremony. We even caught a glimpse of an adorable little groundhog (not actually sure what it is, but muskrat sounded best in the title).
